Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1619

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from Hammad, regarding a man who handed over wealth to a man as *mudarabah* (profit-sharing partnership). He valued the goods at one thousand dirhams, then he sold them for nine hundred. He said: The capital is nine hundred.
