Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1641

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, who said: If an *umm walad* (a slave woman who has borne a child to her master) commits an act of immorality (*fahisha*), that does not cause her to lose her status (*la yariqquha dhalika*); she remains in her state. If her master dies, she is emancipated.
