Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1650

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Hasan, who said: There is no sale for him, and there is no manumission for him. And whoever does that, then he is a transgressor (fasiq).
