Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Salama ibn Wardan narrated to us, he said: I asked Salim ibn ‘Abd Allah about a stray camel. He said: "It has its water skin and its shoes with it, so leave it, unless you recognize its owner, then you hand it over to him." He said: And I asked him about a stray sheep. He said: "Make it known (publicly). If its owner comes, then (give it to him), otherwise it is for you, or for your brother, or for the wolf."
