Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1718

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la ibn Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan, he said: If the lost property is lost, its owner is the guarantor.
