Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, from Husayn al-Mu'allim, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from Tawus, from Ibn 'Umar and Ibn 'Abbas, they both said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "It is not lawful for a man to give a gift and then take it back. His likeness is like the dog that ate until it was full, then vomited, then returned to its vomit."
