Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1757

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Hisham al-Dastawa’i, from Qatadah, from Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The one who takes back his gift is like the one who returns to his vomit."
