Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1762

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Jabir, from al-Sha’bi and al-Hakam, regarding two men who bought a commodity; one of them bought half of it for twenty, and the other bought half of it for ten. Al-Sha’bi said: "If he sells it by profit-sharing (murabaha), then it is according to their capital investments. And if he sells it by bargaining (musawama), then it is half and half." And al-Hakam said: "It is between them in two halves."
