Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:18

Isma'il narrated to us, from Abu Bakr ibn 'Abd Allah, from Makhul, who attributed it to the Prophet (marfu'), he said: If a man buys a thing while he has not seen it, and it is absent from him, then he has the choice when he sees it; if he wishes, he may take it, and if he wishes, he may leave it.
