Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1846

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, from Hisham, from Muhammad, that he used to see no harm in the judge taking a provision from the public treasury (Bayt al-Mal) of the Muslims.
