Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:1979

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’ or Ibn Abi Mulaykah and ‘Amr ibn Dinar. They both said: We have always heard that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, decreed regarding the runaway slave who is found outside of the Sacred Precinct (al-Haram) [a penalty of] one dinar or ten dirhams.
