Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, from Ibn 'Awn, who said: They mentioned *al-'aynah* (a type of usurious transaction) in the presence of Muhammad [ibn Sirin], and he said: I have been informed that Ibn 'Abbas used to say: "Dirhams for dirhams, and between them is a *jarirah* (a deceitful trick/pretext)."
