Hushaym narrated to us, from Abu Hamza Imran ibn Abi ‘Ata, who said: I witnessed Shurayh when two men disputed before him. One of them had hired a riding beast from the other to a known place, but he exceeded [the distance]. Shurayh held him liable for it.
