Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:210

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Ibrahim, who said: If a man buys goods, and the buyer says, "Transport it for me," and the seller says, "No, not until you bring me the price," then this is in the position of a pledge (rahn). If it perishes, it is from the wealth of the seller. But if the seller says to the buyer, "Transport it," and he says, "Leave it until we bring you the price," then this is in the position of a deposit (wadi‘ah). If it perishes, it is from the wealth of the buyer. He may sell the latter, but he may not sell the former. Ibn ‘Awn said: I mentioned this to Muhammad, and he said: "He spoke the truth, I think."
