Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2102

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from al-Rabi’, from Ibn Sirin, he said: I said to ‘Ubaydah: "Should I buy stolen property while I know that it is stolen?" He said: "No." I said: "Then should I buy property obtained through treachery while I know that it is treachery?" He said: "No." I said: "Then should I buy the gains of public office?" He said: "And are you able to leave it?"
