Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Khalid, who said: Muhammad ibn Sirin sent me to Iyas ibn Mu'awiyah while he was in charge of the judiciary. He said: Tell him, "I have some mortgaged yarn, and I fear that it will spoil, so order me to sell it."
