Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Shurahbil ibn Muslim, who said: I heard Abu Umamah al-Bahili saying: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying during his Hajj, the year of his Farewell Hajj: "A woman shall not spend anything from her husband's house except with his permission." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, not even food?" He said: "That is the best of our wealth."
