Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from al-Sha’bi, regarding a man who buys a slave girl and she runs away from him: If she was deceptive to him or treacherous, the price is returned to him, and you seek your slave girl. He said: And Shurayh used to say: Return her with her ailment.
