Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2272

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abis, from Sulaym ibn Adhnan, from Alqama, that he heard him say: "That I should lend to a man twice is more beloved to me than that I should give to him once."
