Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2284

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ubaydah ibn Humayd narrated to us, from Mansur, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja’d, he said: Abu al-Darda’ said: "That I lend a man two dinars twice is more beloved to me than that I give them away as charity. For if I lend them to him, he returns them to me, then I give them away as charity, so there is for me two rewards."
