Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2303

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufay, from Musa ibn Tarif, who said: He entered the Bayt al-Mal (public treasury) and broke wind in it. He said: "I will not reach the evening while there is a dirham of yours in it." Then he called a man from Banu Asad and said: "Distribute it." So he distributed it until evening came. The people said: "If only you had compensated yourself (from it)." He said: "If He wills, but it is *suht* (ill-gotten wealth)." He said: "We have no need for your *suht*."
