Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2334

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, and from Mutarrif, from al-Sha'bi, regarding two partners who enter into a partnership: He said: They are not considered [as partners] until they come together.
