Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2364

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from Asim bin Kulayb, from his father, he said: A man from the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, informed me, he said: We were with the Prophet on a military expedition, and we were struck by famine. We found sheep and plundered them before they were divided. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to us walking, leaning on his bow, until he came to our cooking pots and overturned them with his bow. He said: "Plunder is no more lawful than carrion."
