Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2379

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Mughirah, from Ibrahim, who said: If a man pledges a free person and he acknowledges that, it is a pledge until the one who pledged him redeems him, or he redeems himself.
