Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Za’idah narrated to us, from Mujalid, from Abu Burdah, from his father, who said: Umar came to a servant of his who was selling fresh dates and said: "Clean them, for it is better." And he came to a servant of his while he was selling garments and said: "If the garment is narrow, then spread it out while you are sitting, and if it is wide, then spread it out while you are standing."
