Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2422

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Hisham ibn ‘Urwah narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Rafi’, from Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever revives dead land, then for him is a reward in it, and whatever the creatures eat from it, it is for him as charity."
