Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: 'Abbad bin al-'Awwam narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Sha'bi, from Shurayh, regarding a man who rented a house for months and specified a term, then he resided in it and then wanted to move out of it. He said: "When he brings the keys, he is absolved, and he is liable for the rent of what he resided in."
