20207 Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Ishaq al-Shaybani, from Muslim ibn Sabih, who said: I saw a man from Basra who had copies of the Mushaf (Quran) with him, selling them. So I came to Masruq ibn al-Ajda’, Abdullah ibn Yazid al-Ansari, and Shurayh, and I asked them. They said: "We do not like to take a price for the Book of Allah."
