Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2505

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Zakariyya narrated to us, he said: I asked ‘Amir about a man who lent a wall to his neighbor, so he built upon it, then he (the owner) wanted to tear down his building. He said: He must compensate the owner of the wall for what he spent.
