Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: We heard the explanation of *al-muzabanah* as the buying of what is on the tops of the palm trees with dates. And *al-muhaqalah* as the buying of what is in the ears of grain with wheat and barley. And *al-‘araya* as a man having a palm tree which he inherits or buys in the orchard of another man.
