Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Jabir, from ‘Amir, from Ibn Abi Qurrah, regarding Salman ibn Rabi’ah al-Bahili, concerning a man who bought an item from a man on the condition that he may look at it, and he fixed the price, then it died, so Salman ibn Rabi’ah held him liable for it.
