Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ad-Dahhak bin Makhlad narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn Mas‘ud, that he used to dislike the selling of the *mukātab* (a slave who has entered into a contract of manumission).
