Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2719

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Shu‘ayb, who said: Abu al-‘Aliyah used to come to the house of Buray, and he would say, "Peace be upon you, may I enter?" I would say, "May Allah have mercy on you, it is only the marketplace." He would say, "Indeed, a man might be alone with his accounts, and he might be alone with his dirhams, checking them."
