Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, who said: "Pre-emption (shuf'ah) is for the polytheist, the Bedouin, and others." And al-Sha'bi said: "There is no pre-emption for a Bedouin nor a polytheist."
