Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Umarah, from Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Amr ibn Hazm, from Aban ibn ‘Uthman, he said: ‘Uthman said: "There is no right of pre-emption (*shuf’ah*) in a well, nor in a stallion. And the boundary (*al-arf*) cuts off every right of pre-emption."
