Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Layth, from al-Sha’bi, who said regarding the neighbor of the house: If they are equal in proximity, then whichever of them is first, he is more entitled to the pre-emption (shuf’ah).
