Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Shu’bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam, from Shurayh, who said: "The pledge is [liable] for what is in it." Shu’bah said: So I said to al-Hakam regarding his statement: "If it is less or more, it is the same?" He said: "Yes."
