Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2864

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shareek narrated to us, from Jabir, from Abu Ja’far, who attributed it to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), he said: When captives were brought to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), he would give them to the family of the house, [and then to] the family of the house, out of dislike for separating them.
