Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:2868

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shareek narrated to us, from Jabir, from ‘Amir and Abu Ja’far, that they both disliked separating between captives. As for those born in captivity (al-muwalladun), there is no harm [in separating them].
