Hadith 13:2956
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah ibn Umar, from Umar ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Dallaf, from his father, from his father’s paternal uncle, Bilal ibn al-Harith, who said: There was a man who used to exaggerate in [the quality of] his riding camels and would outstrip the pilgrims until he became bankrupt. Umar ibn al-Khattab delivered a sermon and said: "To proceed: The little fool of Juhayna was satisfied with his trustworthiness and his religion being described as 'he outstripped the pilgrims,' so he took on debts while turning away [from his obligations], and he has now become burdened with debt. So whoever is owed anything, let him come to us so that we may divide his wealth among them."
