Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, from Sufyan al-Asfari, from his father, from Habib ibn al-Nu'man al-Asadi, from Khuraym ibn Fatik, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) prayed the morning prayer. When he finished, he stood up and said: "False testimony has been equated with associating partners with Allah," three times. Then he recited this verse: "And avoid false speech, being inclined to Allah, not associating anything with Him."
