Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abd al-Karim al-Jazari, he said: A group testified before Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz regarding the crescent moon of Ramadan. He suspected them, so he struck them seventy [lashes] each and invalidated their testimony.
