Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:3094

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who bought fodder by weight, then took possession of it without weighing it, and the fodder perished. He said: "It is from the wealth of the one who bought it." He said: And Muhammad said the same as this.
