Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Ash’ath, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who stole a slave and sold him, then he died in the possession of the buyer. He said: The buyer’s dirhams are gone, and the owner of the slave pursues the thief.
