Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:3120

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Isra’il, from Jabir, from ‘Amir, from Shurayh: That he would not permit the testimony of a witness as long as he (the witness) was alive, even if it were with an oath.
