Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Hasan, from Isa ibn Abi Izz, who said: Al-Sha'bi used to ask the witness to bring someone who would vouch for his integrity (tazkiyah).
