Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:320

Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, that a woman sold a house belonging to her husband while he was absent. When he arrived, he refused to authorize the sale, so he disputed with her regarding it before Iyas ibn Mu'awiyah. The buyer began saying, "May Allah rectify you, I have spent two thousand dirhams on it." He [Iyas] said, "The omen is upon the omen." He then ruled for the man to have his house and ordered his wife to prison. When he [the husband] saw that, he authorized the sale.
