Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:3208

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who bought a quantity of food from a man and paid him in cash, then went to measure the food and did not find it [to be the full amount]. He said: "He should return to the owner of the food what remains according to the portion of what he bought." He said: "And Muhammad used to dislike it."
