Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 13:3211

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, from Mujahid: That a man sent to Aisha a pouch of dinars, upon which was written: "For Aisha, the Mother of the Believers." When the people reached [a place] from Medina, rain befell them, and the pouch was lost. The people proceeded and came to Medina. The man looked at the letter, then he made [the equivalent of] the dinars and wrote upon them [the same inscription], then he came with the letter and the pouch to Aisha. Some people passed by that place and found the pouch with the writing upon it, so they brought it to Aisha. She sent for the owner of the first dinars and said to him: "Inform me of the news of the dinars." He said to her: "The news is in the letter." She said: "Tell me the truth." So he informed her of the news. She said: "You intended to feed me that which is not lawful for me."
