Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A’raj, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade the selling of surplus water, so that surplus pasture might be withheld because of it.
